кипеш
From хи́пес (xípes, “a special kind of theft with the assistance of an attractive prostitute; prostitute, stealing from the client”), from Yiddish חופּות (khupes), the plural of חופּה (khupe, “canopy used in a wedding ceremony”) (from Hebrew חופה (khupá)), whence also slang хи́па (xípa, “female genitalia”). Likely influenced by кипеть (kipetʹ, “to boil”).
